Jeffrey Lynn McDonald, age 45, of Chambersburg, died at 2:10 PM on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center of Chambersburg, following a lengthy illness of Frederick's Ataxia. Born on February 6, 1965 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Bonita L. McDonald of Chambersburg.
Jeff was a 1986 graduate of Franklin Learning Center. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Marion, and the Unity Club of Chambersburg. An avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Penn State Football, he spent many hour watching sports on TV.
Aside from his mother, he is survived by his uncles: William McDonald Jr. and Robert McDonald Sr., both of Chambersburg, Richard L. McDonald Sr. of Hagerstown; his aunt Nancy Houser, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William McDonald Sr. and Eva Cramer McDonald; aunts: Betty Kennedy and Peggy Reynolds; and uncles: Walter and Jack McDonald.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg with Pastor Denise Horn officiating. The good care and love he received since becoming a resident of FSNRC in July 1998 was great appreciated by him and his family.
