Ann Winner, 91, of Orrstown, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Orrstown Personal Care Home. Born May 15, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Armstrong Trimble and Ella Garrett Trimble-White. Her beloved husband, Clifford Winner, Jr., preceded her in death on October 15, 2001.

Ann was a 1952 graduate of Philadelphia High School for Girls. She attended Wilson College from 1952-1954 in Chambersburg, PA and in 1957 earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania. She later earned her master’s degree in library science from Drexel University in 1972. Ann was employed as a librarian for Willingboro Public Library in Willingboro, NJ, until her retirement in 1997. Ann was a member of the Episcopalian Church, Beta Phi Mu Sigma, and volunteered with the Support Network at Penn National (SNAP). She was an avid reader and researcher and also enjoyed cooking, baking, and vacations along the coast of Maine.

Ann is survived by two children, Chris Ann Matusiak (Edmund) of Shippensburg, and Andrew Winner (Ann Adler) of Bologna, Italy; four grandchildren, Justin, Kendra, Ryn, and James; three great grandchildren, Haylee, Blake and Kaulder; and her sister-in-law, Gail Trimble. Aside from her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. James A. Trimble, Jr.

Graveside services will be private. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Orrstown Personal Care Home and to Residential Hospice for the exceptional care given to Ann.
