Fayetteville

Anne May (Kuhn) Moore, age 84, of Fayetteville, PA, was called home by the Lord on August 21, 2026, at Paramount Senior Living. Anne was born on January 8, 1942, to Fred G and Helen E (Mozingo) Kuhn of Shelbyville, IN. Spending her childhood in Shelbyville, she later married John M (Mike) Moore of Indianapolis on August 31, 1963, after meeting him while working at Methodist Hospital.

Anne was a joyous individual who spent her entire career of 42 years working at the downtown Indianapolis hospital, almost all of those years working with mothers and babies in the maternity ward and later in the Neo-natal Intensive Care where she loved spending her life helping infants.

Following the death of her husband, Mike, in 2003, Anne devoted much of her free time serving others while attending Church at the Crossing and participating with her beloved friends in Lydia’s Ladies. She also joined many short-term, cross-cultural medical missions through her favorite organization, Caring Partners in the nations of Belize, Ecuador & Guatemala where she helped care for babies and young mothers. She also heavily supported an orphanage in Kenya where she helped provide for Fred, a young boy at the home, throughout most of his childhood.

Anne spent her last 4 years living outside of Chambersburg, PA with Chris and Brenda and most recently at Paramount Senior Living. Whenever possible she loved to participate in the worship and fellowship at Salem Church in Chambersburg where she met a number of new friends.

Mike and Anne loved spending their free time together taking unplanned trips to various locations or staying in cabins and houseboats on Dale Hollow Lake. Her one true ‘hobby’ was people and more than anything else loved to put her faith into action serving people in any way possible.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, as well as two twin great-grandsons (Max & Michael) who died at birth. her brother Rick Kuhn and sister Barbara Yarbrough. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey (and his wife, Virginia) and Chris (and his wife, Brenda), her 4 Grandchildren, John, Sr. (Nissa), Joseph (Tamara) Jamie & Rachel and seven great-grandchildren (John Jr, Jessica, Jenna, Julie, Josephine, Jasmine and Mariya).

Anne would have loved and appreciated any memorials being directed to Caring Partners, Inc of Franklin, OH, caringpartners.org
