Arnold W. “Arnie” Wagaman, 84 of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 10, 2024 at Quincy Village. Born September 7, 1939 in South Mountain, PA, he was the son of the late Vernis Wagaman Sr. and Janet Naugle Wagaman.
Arnie was a 1957 graduate of Quincy High School. Following high school, he enlisted in and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He was employed at Mack Truck as a quality control specialist until his retirement; a total of 39 years. He was a member of the Greencastle Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose A. (Snitker) Wagaman, whom he married on June 3, 1961; two children, Deborah McCulloh and husband Timothy, and Wayne Wagaman and wife Robin; four grandchildren, Becky McCulloh, Katie Stouffer, Zach Wagaman and Abi Wagaman; five great-grandchildren, Kaia Grice, Callia Grice, Brooks Stouffer, Blake Stouffer and Connor Wagaman; and two sisters, Judy Wagaman and Marlene Webster. Aside from his parents, Arnie was preceded in death by his son, Eric Wagaman; his siblings, Gloria Creager, Vernis Wagaman Jr. and John Wagaman.
Services for Arnie will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
