Barbara Petesich

Barbara E. Ferry Petesich, age 50, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born August 18, 1961 in Washington, D.C., she was a daughter of Alan and Carolyn Ferry of Spring Run, PA.

A 1979 Graduate of Fannett-Metal High School and from Indiana University of PA in 1983, she began her career in September of 1984 as an Information Technology Specialist at the Navy Supply Business System Center at the Mechanicsburg Naval Base. Barbara was a member of the Lower Path Valley Presbyterian Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her step-children, her nieces, and nephews and going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Michael Petesich, step-daughter, Erin; step-son, Tony; sister, Diane Martin (husband Larry); brother Michael Ferry; Father and Mother in law, Anthony and Patricia Petesich; brothers in law, Thomas and John Petesich; two nieces; and six nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA; where Pastor Jeffrey Lease will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Reformed Church Cemetery, Fannettsburg, PA.
