Charles Johnson, 69, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 in his home.  Born May 5, 1955 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Melvin Williams and Naomi Johnson and raised by his late great-grandmother, Ollie M. Vessle.

He was a graduate of Brooklyn Park High School, Maryland.  Charles was employed as a construction contractor throughout his career.  He was a member of Brownsville Church of God, Fayetteville. Charles was an avid Baltimore Ravens football fan and had a love of motorcycles. He affectionately referred to himself as the best fish fryer and grill-master.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqulyn Reidout Johnson; three children, Charles A. “Tony” Johnson of North Carolina, Charles R. “Little Charles” Johnson of Baltimore, MD, and Charles “Timmy” Johnson of North Carolina; a stepson, Rashaad Banks of New York; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his close-knit sister, Pricilla Graves; and other siblings and his beloved dog, Skyy.

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Victor Johnson officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday afternoon in the funeral home.
