Charles E. Williams

Charles E. Williams, 87, of Orrtanna, PA, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 31, 1937, in Chambersburg he was the son of the late Charles E. Williams and Helen (Stine) Williams Huss.

He was a graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1955. Chuck served honorably with the United States Navy from June 8, 1955 until his honorable discharge December 15, 1958. Following his time in the service Charlie was a plant manager for J. Schoeneman’s, Inc. for 40 years.

He was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Phillies fan.

He is survived by two children, Randy Williams (wife Tina) of Orrtanna, PA and Pam Rock (husband Brian) of Fayetteville, PA; eight grandchildren, Chuck Williams (wife Nora), Joshua Williams (wife Alicia), Wendy Mroz (husband AJ), Sean Stine, Corey Williams, Chelsie Williams, Gunnar Rock, and Brooke Rock; six great-grandchildren, Sierra, Aeva, Asher, and Emilee Williams and Olivia and Hannah Smith; a brother, Samuel Williams (wife Norma); and his beloved dog, Penny. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann (Suders) Williams who passed away October 20, 2020 and a sister, Joan Allen.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home.
