Clarence E. “Spike” Cooper, 67, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his home. Born July 28, 1949 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Orlan and Jane Staley Cooper. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Susan I. Cooper, whom he married on July 9, 1986.

Spike was a 1967 graduate of Forbes Road High School. He was employed as an equipment operator for Valley Quarries for 30 years then with Highway Materials in St. Thomas until his retirement in 2015. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 842 where he was a past Governor, AmVets Post 224, and the American Legion Post 46, all in Chambersburg.

Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
