Curtis G. Grapes

Curtis G. Grapes, 88, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 25, 1938, in Martinsburg, WV to the late Denzil E. and Orpha E. (Arnold) Grapes.

Curtis was a 1957 graduate of Martinsburg High School in Martinsburg, WV. He was employed as a Publications and Graphics Division Manager at Control Data Corporation. He was a member of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 in Chambersburg, PA. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, cowboy shooting sports, playing Texas Hold ‘Em with his friends, and smoking cigars. Earlier in life, he had a championship show Siberian Husky that won 1st place in a few local shows that he was very proud of.

He is survived by his son, Michael E. Grapes of Fayetteville, PA and sister Shirley Schoppert of California. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Donald Grapes
