David Crawford II

David Crawford II, 79, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 13, 1945, in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late David Crawford and Mary Jean Allen Dornin.

David was a 1964 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, OH. A US Air Force Veteran, he served honorably during Vietnam. He was later employed as a truck driver for over 40 years until his retirement in 2010. In his younger years, David enjoyed racing stock cars and had a passion for sailboats and building models. Later in life he enjoyed a good breakfast at the diner with the guys, collecting antiques, giving his family the daily weather report, and his beloved pets, most recently his dog Carly. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by three children, Pamela Buch of Warren, OH, Heather Sites (Matthew) of Chambersburg, and Christina Rodgers of Chambersburg; six grandchildren, Jenna White, Jordyn White, Madison Downing (Ethan), Noah Barnhart (Jordan), Mackenzie Sites and Eden Sites; and four great grandchildren, Teagan, Juliette, Karsyn and Jett. Aside from his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Scott Crawford; and his loving companion, Pamela Crawford.
