Donald W. Byers, 87, of Chambersburg, died Thursday at Chambersburg Hospital. A son of Harvey W. and Margaret Cormany Byers, he was a life-long farmer, avid outdoorsman, and hunter. Surviving are 2 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard; and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Lois; daughter Sheree Jansen; 1 brother; and 2 sisters preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held at 1PM Monday at Norland Cemetery.
