Dorothy J. "Dotty" Yeager

Dorothy J. “Dotty” Yeager, 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 8, 1943, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Barrette and Dorothy J. Feldman Ford.

Dotty was a 1961 graduate of CASHS. She was a dedicated wife and homemaker. Her passion was taking care of her daughters and husband and keeping their home clean and neat. She also enjoyed yardwork and shopping. Early in her life, Dotty attended Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John R. Yeager, Jr., whom she married on July 1, 1961; four daughters, Deborah Sue Ficks (Paul) of Ft. Loudon, Julie Ann Bless (Douglas) of Fayetteville, Lisa M. Burgess (Vernon McCauley) of Greencastle, and Brianne Elizabeth Buhrman (Cory) of Shippensburg; and three grandchildren, Brandon Bless, Devin Bless (Lacie), and Dayton Buhrman (fiancé Mackenzee), all of Chambersburg.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 2025, in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Ronald Cook will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L.
