Dustin James Stoner

Dustin James Stoner, 49 of Williamsport, MD, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 in his home. Born June 16, 1976 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Penny W. (Fields) Stoner and the late James A. Stoner who passed away August 27, 2018.

He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area High School. Dustin was a long time resident of Denver, CO, before returning back to the east coast. While in Denver, he was employed as a forklift operator and trainer for Bison Innovative Products. Most recently Dustin was employed for CertainTeed, Williamsport, MD.

Dustin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a proud Life Scout of the Boy Scouts of America and an avid skateboarder. He loved hiking and being outdoors as well as spending time with his family, including his beloved dog, Blue.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Nolan J. Stoner and his mother Katherine Hauver Stoner; two siblings, Daniel J. Stoner and his wife Kayla and Rebecca Stoner Akaka and her husband Godfrey S.K. Akaka, III; three nephews, Abram and Dean Stoner and Matthias Akaka; and a niece, Kalea Akaka.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Graveside services will be private in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.
