Edwin L. Mills

Edwin L. Mills, 85, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 in his home. Born June 15, 1940 in Williamsport, MD he was the son of the late Victor D. and Della V. (Wolfe) Mills.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force. Ed was employed in management for the Hershey’s Ice Cream Company from 1973 until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed anything to do with trains, tinkering in his garage and keeping busy around the house.

He is survived by his wife, Wilda (Brown) Mills; step-daughter Debra Hanlon of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Troy Jamison (Jamie) of Rocky Mount, VA, Kevin Jamison of Chambersburg, Anna Stewart (Christopher) of Lakeland, FL; and Adam Maciejewski (Amelia) of Mount Pleasant, WI; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Mills (Becky) of Waynesboro, PA and Joe Mills (Joyce) of Frederick, MD; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two step-children, Michael Jamison and Cindy Maciejewski; and 15 siblings.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Rev. Mike Sanders and Rev. Carl McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens where military honors will be conducted by members of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1559.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday morning in the funeral home.
