Ellen O'Shaughnessy

Ellen was born in 1940, in Port Chester, New York. She was the loving wife of John D. O’Shaughnessy and as such served with him in several third world locations in challenging and rudimentary circumstances. She handled every challenge with humor and grace and together she and John were a formidable team. Ellen is survived by her only son Kevin, wife Marie, of Tucker, Georgia, step-grandson Aiden, and nieces and nephews. Ellen enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and was actively involved with her church. Ellen had a dry sense of humor and a quick wit. She was a great conversationalist and enjoyed her phone calls from friends and family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Matthew G. Smith at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will be private.
