Esther Pisle

Esther Crider Pisle, age 95 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Paramount Senior Living. Born April 11, 1928, in Cumberland County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John K. and Elizabeth Wyrick Alleman.
Mrs. Pisle was a homemaker most of her adult life. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Franklin County Farm Women.
Surviving are five children, Ronald E. Crider (Cindy) of Chambersburg, PA; Dennis H. Crider of Chambersburg, PA; Susan Fagan (Robert) of McVeytown, PA; John G. Crider (Tina) of Chambersburg, PA; and Carla J. Carey (Jim) of Chambersburg, PA, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold L Crider in 1999 and her second husband, Marlin Pisle in 2018 and also eleven siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11 AM at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 125 Park Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201, where Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Park Avenue Organ fund at the address above.
