Florence “Grace” MacInnes, 88, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday evening, June 17, 2026, at The Shook Home. Born March 11, 1938, in Spring Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Florence Gilbert Bryan. Her beloved husband, William MacInnes, preceded her in death on June 15, 1992.
Grace was a graduate of Fannett-Metal High School. She was employed as a personnel clerk at Letterkenny Army Depot until her retirement. A very artistic person, Grace enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and loved painting.
She is survived by two children, William “Bryan” MacInnes (Susan) of Chambersburg, and Kaye Hamilton of St. Thomas; five grandchildren, Danielle MacInnes, Troy MacInnes, Travis MacInnes, Zachary Hamilton, and Garrett Hamilton (Chelsey); and three great grandchildren, Collin, Aubrey, and Colter. Aside from her husband and parents, Grace was preceded in death by five siblings, Russell, Jacob “Pete”, Norman, Bob and Frank Bryan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Murray Stevens will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Norland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
