G. William Wallace, 88, went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2025. Bill was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, but has resided in Chambersburg, Scotland, Shippensburg, and most recently in Clermont, Florida. Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Lorna Flohr Wallace, and his parents, George W. Wallace and Margaret Wallace Boerner. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Wallace Dalton Brown, his daughter, and son-in-law, Christy Higgs and Vince Higgs of Windermere, FL, and two granddaughters, Sarah Hales (Jason) and Rebekah Wagner (Wayne), all from Florida, as well as cousins Judy Hanrahan and Sue Wilson.

Bill was an active member in all of his communities. He graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School in 1954. He graduated from Temple University’s School of Pharmacy in 1959 and soon after owned and operated Rines Pharmacy, Inc. in Chambersburg from 1966 to 1993. Bill served in the US Army and Army Reserves from January 1960 to October 1965. He was also an active member of his local VFW, Elks Club, Rotary Club, and Chambersburg Men’s Club. Bill was an avid golfer and a former member of the Chambersburg Country Club. He was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, PA. After his move to Florida, Bill enjoyed living with his daughter and son-in-law for three years and then with his sister.

Bill will be interned with his beloved wife, Lorna, and a Celebration of Life service will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Dr., Fayetteville, PA 17222 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:45 AM. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 AM until the start of service at 10:45 AM.
