Gregory R. Jaques, 71, loving and compassionate husband, father, and grandfather, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 25, 1951, in Rock Island, IL, he was the son of the later Alfred W. and Helen M. (Petersen).

Greg attended United Township High School graduating with the class of 1969. After obtaining his bachelor's degree from Black Hawk College of East Moline, IL, Greg served with the United States Air Force from April 12, 1972, until his honorable discharge November 26, 1976. Having an interest in golf, he enjoyed playing in the early mornings while enjoying the outdoors. Planning yearly family vacations to Myrtle Beach with his family and grandchildren whom he loved dearly was important to him. After his
retirement, he became an avid gardener and enjoyed the bounty from his gardens and also shared with family and friends.

Jaques of Scotland, PA; Kellan Cook (Angela) of Little Cove, PA; and Geoffrey E. Cook (Ali Washabaugh) of McConnellsburg, PA; nine grandchildren, Sage, Jadyn, Logan, Lucas, Adler, Bennett, Marlee, Indie, and Wells; a sister, Diana Linenberger of Mississippi; a niece, Lisa; a great niece, Jada, a great nephew, Timothy Jr.; four other important family mothers - Laura, Mandy, Heather, and Margaret; and his Sunday night circle friends who were his sisters and brothers in Christ.
