Jerre A. Rotz

Jerre A. Rotz, 84, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. Born November 12, 1940, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert P. Englerth and Anna M. Jones Kremp.

Jerre was a 1958 graduate of CASHS. Early in her life she was employed at Tracy Fashions in Chambersburg. Most recently, she was employed as a teacher’s aide for the Chambersburg Area School District until her retirement in 2014. Jerre enjoyed decorating, knitting, Orioles baseball and spending time with her family, especially her grandson and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald L. Rotz, whom she married on February 14, 1970; two daughters, Louanne Miller (husband Timothy), and Sandra Bender (husband Brad), both of Chambersburg; one grandson, Benton Miller (wife Alayna) of Chambersburg; two great grandchildren, Elsie and Weston; and two sisters, Bonnie McGranaghan of Selinsgrove, PA, and April Gerbrick (husband Joe) of Gettysburg, PA. Aside from her parents, Jerre was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Friese in 1968; and her brother-in-law, Joe McGranaghan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Lincoln Cemetery. Chaplain Bob Murr will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L.
