Kathleen M. Rollins

Kathleen M. Rollins, age 82 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 27, 1943, in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Margaret Trestrail Miller.

Mrs. Rollins worked as a manager in human resources for approximately 60 years,  including 20 of those years in veterinary medicine and as an Office Manager for Colonial Sash and Door and EMSA, retiring September 20, 2020. She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Orrtanna, PA. Mrs. Rollins enjoyed caring for, breeding and raising her Dachshund puppies and volunteering as a Lupus Facilitator.

Surviving are four children, Timothy W. Rollins of Grasonville, MD, Christopher W. Rollins of Stevensville, MD, Dianne Shenberger and husband Dustin of Mercersburg, PA, and William J. Rollins of Denver, CO; two daughters in law, Julie Rollins and Ginny Rollins; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 59 years on December 17, 2020, William E. Rollins, Jr., whom she married on June 17, 1961, and two siblings, Joseph and Margaret.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:30 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Church Rd., Orrtanna, PA 17353. Interment will follow in the adjacent church cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 501 Letterkenny Rd. West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
