Linda S. Stoner

Linda S. Stoner, 61, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026 in her home. Born March 6, 1965 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ethel (Diffenderfer) Waytow.

She was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1983. Linda was employed at the Chambersburg Hospital as a patient access manager for the last 43 years. She was a member of the VFW Post 1599, Chambersburg. Linda enjoyed jet-skiing, riding her motorcycle, going to car shows with her husband, traveling, and being outdoors. She also was an avid animal lover.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert H. Stoner, Jr.; a daughter, Kristen Christophel and her husband Adam; two grandchildren, Noah and Kayden; four siblings, Earl Diffenderfer, Theresa Edwards, Ray Cole and Mike “Doug” Waytow; and a nephew, Weston Wayton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Jaxon Christophel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
