Lois Carver “Hazie” Garman, age 89 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Providence Place. Born in Chambersburg, PA, on September 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel Hayes Carver.
Mrs. Garman was a 1954 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. She worked various jobs at F&M Trust, Chambersburg Area School District, and Letterkenny Army Depot over the years. She was a lifelong member of King Street Church. Mrs. Garman enjoyed reading, puzzle books, going to church, and she cherished time with her boys and grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas M. Garman (wife Victoria) of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Kippin C. Garman (wife Tracy) of Gardners, PA and four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alexander, Anna, and Olivia Garman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Garman in 2017 and a sister, Maxine Cardoni.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11 AM in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Ron Cook will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cumberland Valley Animal shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Rd.
