Loretta J. Caldwell

Loretta J. (Miller) Caldwell, 85, of Fort Loudon, PA, and formerly of Orrstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2026, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Luther Ridge, Chambersburg, PA.

Born December 19, 1940, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Margaret Miller. Loretta previously attended Grand Point Church in Chambersburg. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and found great joy in spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her six children: B. Reed Caldwell (Susan) of Orrstown, Timothy L. Caldwell (Kimberly) of Shippensburg, James L. Caldwell (Cindy) of Orrstown, Susan R. Kochenour (Chris) of Shippensburg, John G. Caldwell of Fort Loudon, and William H. Caldwell of Orrstown; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her beloved husband C. Reed Caldwell and her brother, Robert Miller.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
