Lucille E. Mallory

Lucille E. (Bristol) Mallory, 92, of Greencastle, PA passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, in the Mercy House of Chambersburg. Born August 14, 1933, in Daggett Hallow, PA she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Maude (Rumsey) Bristol.

She was a graduate of Troy High School. Following that Lucille attended Rochester Business Institute in New York. She was employed as a secretary for the Wage Tax Office in Shippensburg, PA. Lou enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, camping and traveling with her beloved husband, Herbert, and having family dinners.

She is survived by two daughters, Victoria Chapman and Kim Lininger both of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Travis, Everett, and Athena; three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Emma, and Claire; and a brother Clyde Bristol and his wife Marilyn of Kansas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Mallory who passed away November 6, 2023; a son-in-law, Ronald Lininger; and her sister, Louise Ayers and her husband Lynn.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
