Margaret Bowen

Margaret L. “Marge” Bowen, 74, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 in Chambersburg Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born August 31, 1949 in Glen Burnie, MD she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dortha (Edwards) Brady.

She was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School. Marge was primarily a homemaker and loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed gardening and baking, and cooking for those she loved.

She is survived by her four children, Keith Bowen and his wife Wendy of Greencastle, PA, Scott Bowen and his wife Susan of Shady Grove, PA, Eric Bowen and his wife Rossana of Harrisburg, PA, and Rebecca Rhone and her husband Tony of Pond Bank, PA; two brothers, Wayne Brady (Merle) of Glen Burnie, MD and Ricky Brady (Nanci); and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Bowen who passed away January 14, 2018 and a sister, Dorothy “Dot” Brady.

Se0rvices will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May, 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Burial will be private in Browns Mill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday evening in the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Monday morning.
