Marguerite G. Forget

Marguerite G. Forget, 98, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.Born on June 23, 1928, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Aurore (Faubert) Leduc.Throughout her working years, Marguerite held positions in both the banking and healthcare fields. She was a proud member of VFW Post 1599 and American Legion Post 46, both in Chambersburg. One of her greatest joys was traveling the world alongside her beloved husband, Julien, creating cherished memories together through their many adventures.Marguerite lived a long and meaningful life, marked by devotion to those she loved and an appreciation for life's experiences. She is lovingly remembered by her dear friend and companion, Diane Platt of Germantown, MD.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julien Forget; her daughter, Michelle Forget; her brother, Raymond Leduc; and her sisters, Pauline Chamberland, Dolores Buckley, and Susan Bourgeois.In accordance with Marguerite's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Gaithersburg, MD.Arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas L.
