Mark Power

Mark S. Power, age 68, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services. Born June 24, 2015, he was a son of the late John S. and Kathryn Giersberg Power.

A 1964 graduate of Robert E. Perry High School in Rockville, MD, Mark then attended the University of Maryland. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1966 – 1972 until he was discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. After his military service, Mark worked in restaurant management for over 20 years. He enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Mark is survived by his wife Jo-Ann Morris Power; three children, Sherri Mohler and husband Bryan of Harrisburg, PA, Clint J. Power and wife Elizabeth of Elizabethtown, PA, and Marc John Michael Power of Lakewood, CO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Josephene Power of Lakewook, CO; his brother, Brian Power of Potomac Falls, VA; and two step-children, Michael Crist and wife Michelle of Middletown, MD, and Candace Crist of Bowie, MD.

Mark will be inurned in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
