Martha M. Walls-Shaffer

Martha M. (Davis) Walls-Shaffer, 75, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2. 2026, at her home. She was born on November 29, 1950, in Chambersburg, PA to the late John and Ruth (Mellott) Mackey.

In her free time, Martha enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and traveling to Skyline Drive twice a year with her husband, Mike to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.

She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Shaffer of St. Thomas, PA whom she married on December 27, 1999; sons Arnold A. Walls and his wife, Diane of Spotsylvania, VA; Todd A. Walls and his wife Daisy of Greencastle, PA; grandchildren Justin L., Hunter R., Chase A., and Catherine E. Walls; great grandchildren Hazel and August. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Arnold and sister Anna Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Brent Stouffer officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
