Mary Margaret “Peggy” Souders, 85, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Luther Ridge. Born June 17, 1938 in Mountain Grove, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Annie Sheets Buzzard. She had worked as a waitress most of her life having worked locally at the former Sunset Restaurant, 30 West, and Chris’s Kitchen.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Lynn Strait (husband Jeffrey) of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Jason Divens, Talaina Strait, and Kellie Strait; and three great-grandchildren, Neamiah Nunley, Saige Gembe, and Joshua Leininger; as well as several siblings.
Services and interment will be private.
