Mary K. Ursillo, 84, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born April 19, 1942, in Closter, NJ, a daughter of the late Ruth H. and John D. Keane.
Mary worked in the fashion industry in the early 70’s, making good use of her keen fashion sense while supplementing her career doing runway modeling. A successful real estate career in Northern New Jersey followed where she earned her broker’s license.
Her knack for being successful at whatever she put her mind to was evident in her swimming, running, golf and tennis prowess. Most recently, Mary concentrated her attention on her great-grandchildren and was always quick with the latest photos to show her friends.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ralph J. Ursillo of Chambersburg, PA; daughter, Mary R. Ursillo (John Pope) of Greenville, NY; son, Christopher S. Ursillo (Lisa Iannello) of Garnet Valley, PA; sister, Patricia Smith (Richard Smith) of West Chester, PA; two grandchildren Bryan C. Ursillo (Caitlyn Ursillo) of West Chester, PA and Sean R. Ursillo (Lauren Ursillo) of West Chester, PA; and two great grandchildren, Bryson C. Ursillo and Owen T. Ursillo of West Chester, PA will also miss their “Nana”.
She also leaves behind her beloved standard poodle, Chanel who preceded Smootchie, Lexi, Lily, Coco, Taffy, Napolean, Saucey and Cinders.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 7, 2026 in St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Church Road, Orrtanna, PA 17353 with Fr. Joseph R. Howard as the celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday morning in the church parish center. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA.
The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude for the wonderful care Mary received at Chambersburg Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local ASPCA or dog shelter in honor of Mary.
