Mary Wilken

Mary M. Wilken, 88, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. Born January 20, 1936 in Shippensburg, she was the daughter of the late Harper and Viola Mixell Williamson.

Mary was employed as a sewing machine operator with U-Wanna-Wash Frocks in Ft. Loudon for 27 years and most recently at Mercersburg Apparel for 10 years. She enjoyed playing and calling bingo at the Mercersburg Sportsman’s Association.

She is survived by three children, Janet Miller of Fort Loudon, Mary Wade (husband Philip) of Fayetteville and Leroy Adams of Steelton; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one sister. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy H. Adams; second husband Raymond A. Wingert; and her third husband, John Wilken; and several siblings and half siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev.
