Mildred D. Barnhart

Ms. Mildred D. Barnhart, 103, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in The Manor at Chambers Pointe. Born January 5, 1922 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Sarah C. (Leib) Demuth.

She was a graduate of Chambersburg High School with the Class of 1940. She was a charter member of The Open Door Church and a faithful volunteer with Franklin County Meals on Wheels.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Saundra L. Reamer of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Joshua D. Reamer, Jeremiah V. Reamer, and Julia M. Graybill; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen J. Byers of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Barnhart; three brothers; and two sisters.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in The Open Door, 600 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Pastor Mike Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church Tuesday morning.
