Millard Griffith Wheeler, Jr., 76, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home. Born September 22, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Millard Wheeler, Sr. and Helen Rose Wheeler.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Millard served honorably during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed with IBM for 25 years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed canoeing, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy Berkheimer (Jeff Myers) of East Berlin, PA, and Louise Kunzinger (Robert) of Wake, VA; his grandson, Michael Kunzinger; and five siblings, Karen Jenkins, Dorothy Van Opstal, Janice Austin, John Wheeler and Marie Wimbley.
Services will be private and entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
