Mitchell Lee Thomas

Mitchell Lee Thomas, 56, of Fayetteville, passed at his home on Friday, September 25, 2026. Born in Chambersburg, PA, on July 20, 1970, he was the son of Harry and Doris (Smith) Thomas.

Mitchell was a self-employed mechanic, he was a huge car enthusiast. He was a Dodge man, enjoyed racing and four wheelers. He especially loved his grandchildren and playing with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife Catherine (Neil) Thomas, of Fayetteville, PA; his children James (Brittany) of Fayetteville, PA, Taylor (Katrina) of St. Thomas, Michelle (Simon) of Spring Run, PA and Rebecca (Logan) of Spring Run, PA: grandchildren Ryleigh, Dakota, Beau, Grayson, Cayde, Grayson, Vincent, Delilah, Simone, Monika, Taylor, Jr. and Rylin; brothers David (Kathy) of Glenwood, GA, Robert of Harrisburg, PA and sister Karen (Rodney) of Shippensburg, PA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Visitation with the family is one hour prior to the service, 10:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
