Patty L. Nye

Patty L. (Weyandt) Nye, 85, of Greencastle, PA passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. Born June 12, 1940, in Six Mile Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Nancy (Rose) Weyandt. She is survived by her loving children, Cathy Baker and her husband David of South Mountain, Chester Nye and his wife Mildred of Greencastle, Carol Anderson and her husband William of Greencastle, and Russell Nye and his wife Lorie of Three Springs. Her dear grandchildren Amanda and her husband Jason Smith, Jeanette and husband Richard Koogle, Heather and her husband Robert Miller, Samantha Bowser and her partner Matthew Jenkins, Rebecca Anderson and her fiance Kurt Tosten, and Emily Nye. Devoted great grandmother of Jasmine, Marley, Jared, Ezra, Leah and Serenity. Sister of Gary and his wife Marilyn Weyandt. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Glenn E. Nye, Grandson Steven Nye, brother Sonny Weyandt and sister-in-law Margaret Weyandt.

Patty loved gardening, and going to yardsales.

Funeral service to be held 11:00 AM FRIDAY, April 3, 2026, in the First Assembly of God Church, 525 East Leitersburg Street, Greencastle, PA 17225. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.

Flowers should be delivered to the church.
