Phillip B. Mordecai

Phillip B. Mordecai, 84, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Chambersburg hospital. Born June 18, 1942, in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Mary A. (Young) Mordecai.

Phillip was a devout catholic and member of Corpus Christi Parish in Chambersburg. He worked at various positions throughout his life, taking great pride in every position he held. He loved spending time with friends in social gatherings, but especially with his family members.

He is survived by his beloved sister Leslie Mordecai of Chambersburg; brother Richard Mordecai of Chambersburg; as well as his circle of friends and church members.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 10, 2026 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
