Ralph E. Flagle, 86, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, in the Chambersburg Hospital Emergency Room. Born May 26, 1939, in Shady Grove, PA he was the son of the late William and Helen (Daley) Flagle.

He served with the United States Marine Corps from May 13, 1958, until his honorable discharge March 29, 1962. Ralph was the owner and operator of Ralph Flagle Logging previously Gilbert and Flagle Logging for over 50 years. Ralph was a member of Fayetteville Church of God but was currently attending Fox Hill Union Church, Waynesboro, PA. Ralph enjoyed playing the bass and guitar for the Guilford Station Bluegrass Gospel Band for many years. Earlier in life he had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying his plane. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and collecting antique cars.

Ralph always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. He was a wonderful man and accomplished so much throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances I. (Gilbert) Flagle whom he married October 4, 1958; four daughters, Deborah Carr (Steven) of Chambersburg, PA, Jackie Greene (Charles) of Orrstown, PA, Kimberly Haga (Michael) of Chambersburg, PA, and Melody Donivan of Everett, PA; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2026, in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Terry Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens where military honors will be conducted by members of the honor guard of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday afternoon in the funeral home.
