Robert Bush

Robert B. Bush, 54, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at City of Hope in Atlanta, GA. Born May 31, 1968 in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of Jeffrey L. Bush and Mary Jane Miller Bush of Hagerstown, MD. Robert was a 1986 graduate of the North Hagerstown High School. A Professional Land Surveyor licensed in five states and the District of Columbia, he began his career with Gerald A. Cump and Associates, Inc. and later worked at Triad Engineering. He was currently employed with C.C. Johnson and Malhotra P.C. He was a member of the South Central Chapter Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and a former member of CV4W. He enjoyed hunting, working outside, spending time with his family and dogs, and watching his grandchildren participate in their activities.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Michelle M. Faith Bush, whom he married June 29, 2013; three step-children, Justin L. Hawbaker and wife Jess of Newville, PA, Amanda B. Hawbaker of Chambersburg, and Nicole L. Boyd and husband Ryan of Greencastle, PA; seven grandchildren, Kenny, Hailey, Laniah, Kaiya, Justin, Rylinn, and Brynlee; his sister, Tina Guiney and husband Bob of Owings Mills, MD; his brother, Brian Bush of Chambersburg, PA; and his niece, Hilary Fosler.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Ronnie Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
