Rodney “Rod” Bruno Sebring, 66, of Chambersburg, passed suddenly, Tuesday January 30, 2024. He was born to Royce and Pearl Sebring of Dover Pennsylvania
Rod was well known for his love of automobiles. He spent his life working on cars to the point of being able to tune a carburetor by ear with nothing but a screwdriver. His basement is full of his collection of auto parts, including rare Model A parts. He loved helping stray cats and had many of his own, Homer, Straylee, Mercury, and Arnold just to name a few. He collected collections: he had collections of clocks, clock parts, coins, fans, fan parts, and many others.
He is survived by his longtime companion of thirty three years, Brenda Miller; daughter, Kaci Sebring of new Oxford; son Cody Sebring with Steffanie Hartlaub of Gettysburg; and step son, Jason Miller with Jodi Campbell of Chambersburg; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; parents Royce and Pearl Sebring of Dover Pennsylvania; Brother Roger Sebring of Tennessee; sister Tammy Mummert of York; very good friend Denny Carbaugh of Greencastle; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by son Cory Sebring and sister Debra Carbaugh.
