Russell K. “Russ” Morrison, 68, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on April 9, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital. Born December 24, 1957 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Chester R. and Hattie Mae Kirby Morrison.

Russ was employed as a truck driver with Food Lion until his retirement. He enjoyed drag racing, Ford cars, working outside, mowing grass and was an all-around handy man. On the rare occasion he didn’t know how to fix something; he researched and worked at it until her figured it out.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cynthia L. “Cindy” John Morrison; whom he married on May 28, 1978; two children, Crystal Lannen (husband Richard) and Ryan Morrison (wife Kelli), both of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Brinton Hopkins and Corbin Morrison; three siblings, Robert Morrison of Chambersburg, Juanita Houck (husband James) of Sunbury, and Deb Bumbaugh (husband Craig) of Sunbury; and numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, Russ was preceded in death by four siblings, Thelma Feldman, Charles Morrison, Edward Morrison, and Hellen Hull.

Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA. Condolences and memories may be shared at geiselfuneralhome.com.
