Sharon A. Gregorio, 86, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully at 12:50 AM on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. Born on May 21, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marcia Paul.
Sharon earned her nursing degree from St. Francis College and devoted her life to caring for others especially through her work in the NICU. Over the years, she served in both hospital and adult day care settings before retiring to focus on her greatest joys: her husband and children.
A member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg, Sharon found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She cherished time with her family, loved playing solitaire, reading, and solving crossword puzzles.
She touched countless hearts through her kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. Whether through her work, her friendships, or her role in her family, Sharon left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Sharon is lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She is survived by her two children, Christopher Gregorio and Laura Shenberger and her husband Devin Shenberger and by four cherished grandchildren, Vincent Gregorio, Anthony Shenberger, Isabella Shenberger, and Nicholas Shenberger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Gregorio, whom she married on October 4, 1980. Louis passed away on July 6, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:15 PM, Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the Parish Center of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 279 N. Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Fr. Allan Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Norland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA as well as one hour prior to the service Thursday afternoon in the Parish Center of the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy House of Chambersburg, 730 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful care and staff at Mercy House.
