Sharon L. Davis

Sharon L. Davis, 81, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at her residence in Menno Village. Born on March 24, 1945, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, PA, Sharon was the daughter of the late Henry H. Davis and Mary Jane (Taylor) Davis.

Sharon was a 1963 graduate of Chambersburg High School and went on to graduate from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 1967, earning her degree in education. She devoted her career to teaching in the Chambersburg Area School District, where she touched countless lives through her dedication to students, her contributions in the classroom, and her enthusiastic school spirit as a coach.

She is survived by her loving son, Matthew T. Gutshall, of Harrisburg, PA; her brother, Henry “Chick” Davis and his wife Sandy, of Greer, SC; and her beloved greyhound, Yogi, who was a constant and cherished companion.
