Shirley M. Monn-Myers

Shirley M. Monn-Myers, 90, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026. Born January 18, 1936, in Littlestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Kathryn M. (Kuhn) Jones.

Shirley was a 1953 graduate of Littlestown High School. She then completed a secretarial school program and was employed as a bookkeeper for Tanner Oil until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, PA and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of White Shrine Sychar Shrine #36. Shirley enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two siblings, Bruce E. Jones of Hanover, PA and Darlene Jones Cline of Camp Hill, PA; two sisters-in-law Lucia Jones and Maureen Jones; four stepchildren, Richard Myers (Cindy), Laura Myers Conrad (Rick), Michael Myers (Lynn), and Tena Myers Manning (Randy); 10 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Parlette; second husband, Homer P. Monn; and her third husband, Dr. Richard Myers; three brothers, Daniel R. Jones, Larry L. Jones, and Gary Jones; two sisters-in-law Lois Jones and Doris Jones.

A Memorial service will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 44 E Main St, Fayetteville, PA, 17222 on Saturday, September 19th, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Christopher Frye will officiate. Interment will be private at a later date.
