Tamara D. Mummert

Tamara D. Mummert, 68, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by her daughter, sister, and “her sidekick”, Sophia.

She was born on January 13,1958, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Donald Hubert and Dolores Irene (Schnabel) Mummert.

Tamara was a 1976 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School in Greencastle, PA. Throughout her life, she was employed as a food service worker with the Chambersburg Area School Districct, South Mountain Restoration Center, and most recently, Quincy Village. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW, both in Waynesboro, PA. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, working in her garden, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Jessie Clopper and her husband Matt of Waynesboro, PA; granddaughter Sophia; sister Linda Greenawalt and her husband Mark of Newburg, PA; brother Curtis Mummert and his wife Julie of Waynesboro, PA; uncle David and his wife Susan; numerous nieces and nephews, one great niece, and one great nephew.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
