Tena M. Golden

Tena M. Golden, 66, of State Line, PA passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 in her home. Born September 11, 1959 in Roaring Spring, PA she was the daughter of the late Max and June (Young) Foster.

She was employed in various industries throughout her career. Tena was a licensed practical nurse, cross country truck driver, dump truck driver, machine operator, and held a number of other jobs throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Mercersburg Moose Lodge and Waynesboro Fish and Game. Tena was an avid sewer and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed canning with her sister and taking care of her home. She loved to be on the go and travel. Tena was an animal lover and will be greatly missed by her two dogs, Buddy and Jaime.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Dirk L. Golden who she married October 2, 2009; two daughters, Maria Stouder of Indianapolis, IN and Daphanie Hartmire of Fayetteville, PA; three grandchildren, Melody Hartmire who she raised, Dakota Johnston, and Whitten Stouder; and a sister, Peggy Unger of Fort Loudon, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Max Foster.

Services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Myers Kimmel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Friday afternoon in the funeral home.
