Victoria R. Fisher

Victoria R. Fisher, 79, of Salisbury, NC and formerly of Chambersburg, PA passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at home surrounded by her sons. Born September 29, 1946, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Verna Louise Nelling.

She was a graduate of James Buchannan High School, Mercersburg, PA. Victoria was employed as a secretary at Knouse Foods in Chambersburg for 20 years. She was later employed in the emergency department at the Chambersburg Hospital until her retirement. Victoria attended Rockwell Methodist Church, Rockwell, NC. She was an avid quilter and loved being able to use her talent to make quilts for family, friends, and the church outreach programs. More than anything she loved helping people and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Fisher, Jr. (wife Rebecca) and Brian Fisher; three grandchildren, Brett Fisher, Lora Fisher, and Chase Fisher; and a brother Timothy Nelling (Joan) of Hagerstown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert E. Fisher Sr. who passed away March 10, 2016, and her brother Robert J. Nelling, Jr. (Shirley).

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Charles Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Otterbein United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lurgan Township, PA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday morning in the funeral home.
